Our primary business is the Haulage industry. We are the link to the mainland (and sometimes further) for local shops, salmon farms, and various members of the fishing industry to the north isles.
Fishing boats and Salmon farms rely on our articulated trucks and refridgerated trailers to transport produce to Lerwick and beyond, whilst we also bring back stores, supplies, feed etc.
Hendersons offers a 24 hour Fueling service to local fishing vessels as well as Scottish and Foreign Ships. With 1 Articulated fuel trailer, and 2 tanker trucks, fuel can be delivered anywhere in Shetland.
The ice plant situated on the cullivoe pier is another part of our business. We offer a 24 hour service providing ice for many vessels. Not only the local fleet, but many vessels from Orkney, Scottish mainland, and even Norway get their ice from us.
